Calmer Easier Happier Screen Time

Getting Back in Charge of the Electronics in Your Home

Parents are increasingly worried about how much time children and teens spend in front of a screen. There are growing concerns about what they are watching, the content of the games they are playing, what types of sites they are visiting, what influences they are being exposed to, who they may be getting involved with, and what values they may be absorbing.

In this workshop you will learn practical and effective strategies for getting back in charge of your family’s screen use. Bring all your questions and concerns; Noel has the expertise and experience to help!

Calmer, Easier, Happier Boys

Bringing Out The Best in Boys

Many boys find life at home and at school more difficult than girls do. Boys often find it harder to sit still, to concentrate, to understand other people’s feelings, have to control their aggression, and they seem to become more easily frustrated. Boys also have many positive qualities that they often don’t get credit for: eg loyalty, energy, single-minded enthusiasm and physical courage.

In this workshop you will find out what boys need from their parents and from school. As you become more aware of how to meet these needs, you can help your sons to become their best selves.

Calmer, Easier, Happier Homework Book

Making homework enjoyable and productive

Discover new ways to help children and teens do their best with homework, reading, revision and projects.

When children and teenagers are largely cooperative, it’s easy to enjoy being with them, and it’s relatively easy to guide them into good habits. However, when they are argumentative, defiant or distractible, we all know how easy it is to get wound up, to argue back, threaten, nag and shout. With the "Calmer, Easier, Happier Homework" strategies, you will learn how to dissolve these negative patterns and create a more peaceful family atmosphere.

Bringing Out The Best In Children And Teens With AD(H)D

Bringing Out The Best In Children And Teens With AD(H)D

It can be lonely and overwhelming struggling to cope with a child or teen who has AD(H)D or other special needs.

In this workshop Noel Janis-Norton teaches practical and effective strategies that parents and teachers can use to improve behaviour, confidence, self-reliance and learning. These tools will help children with AD(H)D to do their best and be their best. By using these strategies you will learn how to stay positive, firm and consistent.

The Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting approach is based on Noel’s many years of hands-on experience as a special needs teacher and advisor.

With Noel to inspire and guide you, the problems you and your family are facing can be transformed from a burden into a rewarding challenge.

Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting

Raising Respectful, Responsible And Confident Teens

Do you find yourself reminding, lecturing or telling off because your teenagers are not using their initiative? Do your teens complain and blame, rather than thinking about solutions? Do they argue back, roll their eyes or talk to you disrespectfully?

Come and learn how you can bring out the best in your teens. Noel will demonstrate practical and effective strategies for improving communication, cooperation and self-reliance. This will reduce conflicts and teach your teens more mature problem-solving skills and self-control. Yes, it’s really true - your teenager can become more respectful, responsible and confident!

Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting

Calmer, Easier, Happier Mealtimes and Bedtimes

Many parents find mealtimes and bedtimes problematic:

  • Anxiety over what children are eating and how much
  • Concerns about table manners
  • Frustration over battles at bedtimes
  • Worry about how much sleep children are getting

In this workshop you will learn how to use the Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting tools to establish and reinforce sensible routines at mealtimes and bedtimes. As a result your children will develop more mature habits, and you will feel calmer and more confident.

Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting
